6 days on the Chemo Countdown!
and it’s a BIG snow day! All the local schools announced their closures last night, about a third of the flights in/out of DIA (Denver International Airport) cancel today, but the morning freeway commute is surprisingly trouble-free. Seems like a lot of folks decide that this should be a three-day Superbowl weekend!
Back to last summer… I’ve already forgotten that I had another diagnostic procedure called a “hysteroscopy” in late July. Under light anesthesia, Dr. L visually inspected the uterine interior and removed more sample tissue for microscopic examination. It’s outpatient surgery, and apparently not a big deal since I forgot to mention it in the previous post. The pathology report is negative for malignancy. So two negative results (ultrasound and hysteroscopy), but a positive result from the biopsy. Even Dr. L seems a bit confounded.
